ACUPUNCTURE & MASSAGE CLINIC FAQs

Here are our most commonly asked questions for our massage and acupuncture services. If you have additional questions feel free to contact us.

Do you offer couples massage?

Good Medicine can accommodate two simultaneous massages if our schedule allows; however, due to the layout of our clinic, the massages will be in separate rooms.

Will acupuncture treat my ailment?

Acupuncture is a recognized treatment for a wide array of issues. For thorough research and complete lists of what types of ailments acupuncture can treat, visit any reputable acupuncture site.

Do you bill insurance?

While Good Medicine does not bill directly to insurance for massage or acupuncture, we can provide you with a coded invoice that is accepted by most insurance companies. After submitting this invoice, you can be reimbursed for your visit.

Do you accept HSA?

Yes! We are able to run your HSA card so long as it allows acupuncture or massage treatments as part of your plan.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

We require 24 hours notice for rescheduling an appointment. When you book with us you are reserving a time that cannot be used if you cancel the appointment under short notice which puts a great deal of strain on the clinic and its therapists. We do our best to be accomodating while still protecting our practitioners. Please visit our Cancellation Policy page to read full explanation of associated cancellation fees.

What is a sliding scale fee?

In order to ensure that everyone has the ability to receive the care they need, Good Medicine operates on a sliding scale fee for acupuncture services. Sliding scale means your appointment cost varies based on your income. You do not have to prove your income when you visit us. We trust you

We do not ask for verification of your income.

Please visit our Sliding Scale page for a detailed explanation of our sliding scale & costs.

What is community acupuncture?

A community acupuncture space is an open environment with semi-private beds or chairs. This open environment helps reduce costs and provides an open, healing space shared by everyone.
