    DEBORAH OHLS

    CLINICAL DIRECTOR

    LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST

From a young age, Debbie Ohls has used her ability to listen, observe and intuit in order to help care for family and friends. She developed those skills throughout her life.

Debbie has lived in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Oregon and Denver as well as a brief time in Spain and England. She learned to relate and connect with people from all backgrounds.

She went to the University of Oregon and got a degree in journalism and Spanish. She was hired right out of college as a marketing manager for a growing restaurant chain and traveled the West Coast opening restaurants.

Although she was successful in this job, something was missing. She always had a passion for fitness and healthy eating so she embarked on the next step in her journey…becoming a Personal Trainer.

Debbie’s fast-paced, high-pressure lifestyle lead to her own physical and digestive issues. She had trouble finding relief. A friend suggested she go see an acupuncturist.

Visiting the acupuncturist proved to be life-changing for Debbie. She was amazed by the relief she experienced after her treatments.

This prompted her to research Chinese medicine, and the concepts resonated deeply with her. She saw that this was the path she was born to travel. She committed herself to learn all she could about natural health and healing. This culminated in a Masters of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA.

Debbie is an intuitive style practitioner who is passionate about connecting with her patients and getting to the root of their issues. She addresses how our emotions can manifest in our bodies and helps to guide people in their path to wellness. She also incorporates energy and bodywork into her treatments.

To be sure she is at her best for her patients, she takes care of herself by going for walks and hikes with her family, doing Qi Gong, dancing, and reading a good book on the couch while sipping tea.

Listening to what her patients say and sensing what they haven’t said is what allows Debbie to connect and provide the best care possible. Nothing gives her more joy than when her patients are able to live their best life.

    BRITTANY REGNER

    LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST

After spending her formative years in New Jersey, Brittany earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. While in college, she struggled to find relief from migraine headaches and chronic pain. After feeling like there was no effective treatment to manage her pain, Brittany came to Acupuncture as a last resort. Not only did she find relief from her symptoms and management of her condition, but the results also had such a profound impact on her life that she was moved to share this medicine with others.  Brittany went on to attend Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, where she earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture, and has been practicing ever since.

Her passion for health and wellness is demonstrated through gentle and effective treatment plans, personalized for each patient to reach their goals. She is committed to facilitating a safe and non-judgmental treatment experience, where a patient is supported to balance their mind, body and soul. Brittany has experience in treating a wide range of conditions, though her specialties are treatments to address acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), headaches and migraines, gastrointestinal disorders, insomnia, stress, anxiety and depression.

Away from the clinic, Brittany holds a strong belief that life requires balance, which she finds through running, weightlifting, cooking, camping and getting lost in a good book.

    TRINITY KAWALSKI

    LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST

Trinity Kawalski discovered her passion for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine through personal experience. Born with a congenital spinal condition, she began receiving acupuncture treatments in high school to manage chronic pain caused by fused vertebrae. She was amazed by the immediate relief she felt after her first treatment. As she delved deeper into the theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), her perspective on health and wellness shifted, fostering a profound respect and connection to her body.

Trinity earned her Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC, where she studied Classical Chinese Medicine under Daoist Master Jeffrey Yuen. After completing her training, she returned to Bozeman to share her knowledge and passion with the community she holds dear.

Her practice is deeply rooted in the esoteric traditions of Chinese Medicine, using its time-honored wisdom to help patients navigate patterns of disharmony within the body. Inspired by her own healing journey, Trinity’s goal is to empower patients to cultivate freedom and sovereignty in their own bodies.

Trinity is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for healing. She has a particular affinity for working with emotional and spiritual disharmony, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, as well as digestive disorders. She welcomes individuals from all walks of life and meets each patient with compassion and care.

Outside of the clinic, Trinity finds joy and inspiration in Montana’s natural beauty. She loves to move her body—whether through dance, yoga, hiking, or weightlifting—and expresses herself through singing, one of her greatest passions.

  • NIKKI CATURIA

    LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST

Nikki Caturia is a dual licensed Acupuncturist and Registered Nurse with experience spanning a wide range of clinical settings including orthopedics, critical care, product education, IV vitamin infusion therapy, and ambulatory surgery centers. Throughout her years working in Western medicine, she had the privilege of caring for many patients with her nursing philosophy always being to treat the person as a whole and not just as a symptom.  Nikki repeatedly encountered individuals who found little to no relief from conventional western and pharmaceutical treatments. Too often, she witnessed medications creating additional complications or having no effect at all, rather than true healing.

Driven by both professional curiosity and personal health experiences, Nikki began searching for effective and holistic options for patients who felt underserved by traditional approaches. Acupuncture became a turning point. Through her own experience as a patient of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nikki realized that acupuncture was the missing link for many patients whose conditions were not adequately addressed by Western medicine alone. Inspired by its profound impact, Nikki shifted her focus to pursue a career in acupuncture, which is complimented by her nursing background and has expanded the care she can offer to her patients.

Nikki trained in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine in Culver City, California.  Today, she integrates her extensive nursing experience with acupuncture to provide patient-centered, integrative care focused on addressing the root causes of dysfunction and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal.

Away from the clinic, Nikki enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, hiking, long walks, and listening to podcasts or audiobooks.

    HEATHER BAUGHMAN

    LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST

As a New Jersey native, Heather Baughman grew up connected to the beauty and freedom of exploring the rivers and forests on the East Coast. She eventually spread her wings and flew to New York City where she pursued art, music, and found a diverse community of people to expand her horizons. From there, she moved West, where she pursued education at UC-Santa Cruz, Washington State University, and earned an Elementary Teaching degree from Western Washington University. Upon moving to Bozeman in 2006, Heather finds herself truly at home and can’t imagine a better place to live!

During her 5-year teaching career in Port Townsend, WA, Heather began experiencing chronic physical issues that impacted her daily life. After exploring a variety of healing modalities with limited success, an introduction to Rolfing™ Structural Integration changed the course of her personal and professional life. The relief she found not only healed her pain, but also facilitated a deep shift in the relationship she had with her body. Heather then shifted her career to Somatic Bodywork, which has been her passion for 21 years.

A highly educated practitioner, Heather graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® in 2003, completed Rolf Movement® certification in 2006, and in 2008 she spent time in Brazil to complete Advanced Rolfing® certification. She has continued to refine her skillset, and in 2010 she completed a 700-hour program in Biodynamic Craniosacral, taught by Michael Shea in NYC. In 2017 she completed a Diplomate of Osteopathic Manipulation (DO-MTP) through the Osteopathic College of Ontario, and 2018 saw her earn a certification in Level III Neurokinetic Therapy®. Since then, Heather has completed 5 modules of the extensive Professional Somatic Experiencing® training, which is a body-centered approach to working through and with trauma.

Specializing in Deep Tissue Massage, Myofacial Release, and body alignment techniques, Heather’s substantial training and experience allow her to integrate her skills and customize an approach to treatment as she guides her patients to reach their goals.

Away from the clinic, Heather prefers to spend time in the Montana mountains and rivers with her amazing son. Always a student, she maintains her personal healing path by continuing to deepen her meditation practice, explore expanded states of consciousness, and nourish her body through yoga, dance, weightlifting, skiing, and cycling.

    Kim Achziger

    Licensed Massage Therapist

Kim Achziger is a licensed massage therapist with over two decades of experience whose path in the healing arts began early and never wavered. She is a 2003 graduate of a rigorous two-year massage therapy program at Sheridan College in Wyoming — a curriculum that wove together both Western and Eastern traditions, including tai chi, aromatherapy, and reflexology.

Over the years, Kim has worked across a wide range of settings, from day spas and chiropractic offices to acupuncture clinics, home visits, and alongside midwives. That breadth of experience shaped her into a highly adaptable, intuitive practitioner who integrates multiple modalities into every treatment, creating a fully customized experience tailored to each client's needs. She has a strong hand and a particular gift for myofascial release, which naturally draws athletes and chronic pain clients to her work. She also offers intraoral massage for TMJ dysfunction and headache relief.

She has completed Pilates and barre instructor training, studied ayurvedic and functional wellness, and spent time as a caregiver — experiences that deepened her insight into the needs of people across all ages and body types, from infants to elders.

A dedicated continuing education student, Kim recently completed training through the Claire Marie Miller series and now offers lymphatic massage and massage for menopause, both of which support digestion, detoxification, and hormonal health. She is currently pursuing advanced lymphatic training with a focus on lymphedema and oncology care, as well as Chi Nei Tsang — an abdominal massage practice rooted in Taoist tradition.

Outside the treatment room, Kim finds balance in nature, music, movement, and time spent with her family, friends, and animals.
